NCLP 考試需知 (同意書 / 注意事項 / 已知問題)
| | | Welcome to your Practicum exam... |
| | Novell Training Services is proud to announce the next generation in practical testing technology. Before you begin your exam, please become aware of the following agreement, cautions and issues: Agreement: I understand the contents of the exam (including its questions, problems, examples, and answers) are proprietary and confidential to Novell. I will not copy any portion of the exam or share any portion of the exam with any other person. I understand and agree that I must complete the exam entirely on my own without receiving assistance from any other person. I will not assist any other person taking the exam. I understand and agree I must take the exam without aid from external reference materials. I understand this means ANY external reference materials, including items such as books, notes (however stored), Internet web sites, chat sessions, email, ftp services, audio devices, etc. | Exam failure: Accessing a remote environment for your exam can have its challenges. Since your exam environment is being accessed through the internet via TCP/IP, any network configuration changes you make to your servers can potentially terminate your remote access. This can make it impossible for you to reconnect and finish your exam. As a general rule NEVER DO ANY OF THE FOLLOWING:- Logout as the current user to try and login as a different user. You should already be logged in as the Root user and shouldn't need any other privileges.
- Stop or kill your xWindow environment.
- Kill any process you're unsure of. (We use certain processes for your remote access and exam evaluation.)
- Change your TCP/IP or network settings not specified in your objectives.
- Never HALT or LOGOUT of your linux environment. If you must restart your server, use the REBOOT command only.
Known issues: - Tab Complete doesn't work with the remote access applet we are using. Sorry for this inconvenience. You can try using [CTRL]+[T] and [CTRL]+[I] as a workaround, however this only works with certain applications.
- While using the Mozilla web browser in your Linux server environment, mouse tracking may become lost, however your keystrokes will still be active. Type [CTRL]+[Q] to quit Mozilla. (Or [ALT]+[F] for Mozilla menu) Then load Mozilla again.
- You may need to maximize your iManager or YAST2 windows to view all controls and buttons available. Don't resize the window, but rather click on the maximize button on the top-right corner of the application window.
- You're accessing the exam environment through the internet using a web browser. Expect your mouse movements and screen updates to be slightly delayed.
